Overview
For this micro-credential, the author consulted with other educators and the resources provided on the WIDA site to generate comprehensive student snapshots of student performance in English. Each student report documents their English proficiency, as indexed by their ACCESS scores, and is meant to inform teachers of other subjects who also work with the child. The author provided an interpretation of the ACCESS scores alongside suggestions for accommodations and scaffolds the student may benefit from. To extend the opportunity for informed pedagogy beyond her classroom, the author also created a presentation to share the information she gathered with other educators at her school.
